Shelby Dewey Key, age 69, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky , died March 27, 2014 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital
He was born October 8, 1944, to the late Ack and Esther Perkins Key in Burkesville , Ky.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by 2 sisters, Betty (Wood) Smith, Edmonton, and Carolyn (Bee) Taylor, Summer Shade; 4 brothers, Delton (Virginia) Key, Glasgow, Welby (Elaine) Key, Indianapolis, Ind., Ira (Elsie) Key, Beaumont, and Herman (Becky) Key, Smiths Grove; and several nieces and nephews..
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will begin Sunday, March 30, 2014, at 5:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, March 31, 2014, at 1:00 PM at the funeral home, with burial to follow in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery , in Cumberland County
