Mrs. Lola "Jennings" Taylor

Lola “Jennings” Taylor, age 75, of Glasgow, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at The Barren County Nursing Home and Rehabilitation in Glasgow. Born August 30, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Bernice and Opal "Pedigo" Jennings. She was the widow of the late Joe Alan Taylor.

   Mrs. Taylor worked in the Social service industry as a secretary and was a devout Christian.

   She is survived by one daughter, Felicia (Joey) Pennington, Edmonton; one sister Linda (Jimmy) Welch ,Glasgow; grandson, Nicolas Taylor Geraci, Florida;

   Preceding her in death besides her husband and parents was one brother, James Orville Jennings.

   Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 12, 2022, 2:00 P.M. at McMurtrey Funeral Home with Mike Padgett officiating. Burial will follow in the SummerShadeCemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 11, 2022, 4:00-8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 after 8:00 A.M. until time of services at 2:00.

   In lieu of plants memorials may be made to the ALS Association, Metcalfe County Animal Shelter, or the Barren River Animal Welfare Association. These can be left here at the funeral home.
