Anthony “Buddy” Terry Knipp, age 77, of the Lone Star Ridge Community passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 at Signature Healthcare Tompkinsville. Born February 22, 1944 in
Buddy is survived by his wife, of 60 years, Barbara Brown Knipp. He was a farmer and retired as an employee of the state of KY. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Lone Star Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Brenda Knipp, Summer Shade, Sarah “Cookie” (Donnie) Smith, Edmonton, Linda (Johnny) Dyer, Lone Star Ridge Community, and Krystal Knipp, Edmonton; one son Terry (Loretta) Knipp, Edmonton; thirteen grandchildren, Anthony “ Tony”, Amanda, Kandace, Melissa, Sarah, Matthew, Michelle, Travis, Christopher, William, Kenneth, Demetria, and Joe Dale; three step grandchildren, Nicole, Courtney, and Whitney; sixteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and one more on the way; and several half brothers and sisters.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter in law, Angelete Knipp and the grandparents that raised him Bill and Sarah Young and step father Hershel Morrison
Graveside services will be Monday, September 6, 2021, at 12:00 noon at
