Barbara Gail Smith Hagan

   Barbara Gail Smith Hagan, age 56, of Summer Shade passed away Thursday, August 25, 2021 at Monroe County Medical Center. Born November 1, 1964 in Tompkinsville, KYshe was a daughter of the late Clifton Smith and Ellen Ethridge Smith, who survives.

   Barbara worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at MonroeCountyMedicalCenter for many years and was of the Church of Christ faith.

  Survivors other than her mother, include one sister, Nancy (Darrell Bennett) Miller, Glasgow; nieces, Cindy (David) Zipf and Amy (Johnathon Carter) Miller; one nephew, Daniel Miller; and one great niece and three great nephews, Jacie, Waylon, Case, and Kade.

   Other than her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hagan; brother, Rickey Smith; and grandparents, Raymond and Mary Allen Smith and Covell and Beatrice Ethridge.

   Funeral services will be Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 12:00 noon at McMurtrey Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the WhiteCemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 27, 2021, 3:00-8:00 P.M. and on Saturday, August 28, 2021 after 8:00 A.M.  until time of services at noon.
