Jimmy Darrell Hurt Sr

   Jimmy Darrell Hurt, Sr. age 72, of Glasgow, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at his residence. Born June 10, 1949 in Burkesville, KYhe was a son of the late Pauline Branham and Benton Hurt and the husband of the late Sue Ann Harper Hurt.

   He was retired from Suburban Propane and of the Church of Christ faith.

   Survivors include three sons, Jimmy Darrell (Martha) Hurt Jr, Glasgow, Farrell (James Clevesy) Hurt, Glasgow, and Timmie Daniel (Crystal) Hurt, Glasgow; one sister, Sue Cumbee, Summer Shade; two brothers, Cecil Joe Davis, Edmonton, and Billy (Ruth Ann) Hurt, Edmonton; grandchildren, John Curtis Hurt, Kevin Lee Shaw, Danny Joe Shaw, Timmie Hurt Jr, Brandon Hurt, Hunter Hurt, Beau Hurt, Jimmy Luke Hurt, Ali Sexton, Shana Hunt, and Isabella Hunt; and 13 great grandchildren.

   Preceding him in death besides his wife and parents were brothers, Jerry and Bobby Hurt.

   Funeral services will be Friday, July 9, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at McMurtrey Funeral Home with Brother Mark Park officiating. Burial will follow in the LickBranchCemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, July 8, 2021, 11:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M. and after 8:00 A.M. on Friday, July 9 until time of services at 1:00.
